# ImmyBot integration

This document outlines the requirements and setup for the ImmyBot integration.

{% hint style="info" %}
If you’re new to integrations in Rewst, read through our introductory integration documentation [here](https://docs.rewst.help/documentation/integrations).
{% endhint %}

{% hint style="warning" %}
ImmyBot does not suppot multi-instance integration. For more on this topic, see our documentation [here](/rewst-documentation/documentation/integrations/multi-instance-integration.md),
{% endhint %}

## What does the ImmyBot integration do?

Our ImmyBot integration enables the automation of remote machine management and monitoring. Use the ImmyBot API within Rewst workflows to gather detailed information and perform various operations on remotely managed machines, people, software, and scripts.

## Set up the ImmyBot integration

{% hint style="info" %}
Currently, the Automatic Provisioning feature available for Rewst Classic isn't available for new Rewst ImmyBot integration. Follow along with our weekly [development notes](/rewst-documentation/updates/development-updates.md) to be notified about when that functionality will be released into the Rewst platform.
{% endhint %}

### Set up steps in ImmyBot

Before configuring the Rewst integration, you'll need to get the application ID and client secret value from your ImmyBot account. To retrieve these, your permissions in ImmyBot must be set to System Administrator. If your account was previously designated as Admin, ImmyBot automatically granted you the permission level of System Administrator (Legacy) in their recent permissioning change update. This is sufficient to set up the integration with Rewst.

Please refer to [ImmyBot's Documentation](https://docs.immy.bot/azure-graph-permissions-setup.html) for up-to-date instructions on retrieving your API key information. Once you have the client secret, store the value somewhere safe. You'll need it for further set up steps in Rewst.

### Set up steps in Rewst

1. Navigate to **Integrations** in the left side menu of your Rewst platform.
2. Search for `ImmyBot` in the integrations page.
3. Click on the integration tile to launch the configuration setup dialog.
4. Choose from either Production or Demo Mode for the setup of your integration:
 1. **Production**: Connect with real credentials for live data
 2. **Demo Mode**: Explore the integration with simulated mock responses
5. Click **Next: Configure and Authenticate**.
6. Select **+ Create New Credential from the Credential** drop-down selector.
7. Enter the information copied from ImmyBot into the relevant fields:
 1. **Hostname -** For example, `Rewst-qa.immy.bot`
 2. **Microsoft Tenant ID -** The Microsoft 365 tenant ID associated with the ImmyBot instance
 3. **Application ID** - The Application ID of the Azure Enterprise App that Rewst will use to authenticate with ImmyBot
 4. **Client Secret** - The Client Secret of the Azure app registration Rewst will use to authenticate with ImmyBot
8. Don't edit the value in the **Token Authentication Method** drop-down selector unless you specifically know that you need to. Rewst's default is to auto-detect your method and fill in the setting accordingly.
9. Click **Save Credential**.
10. Click **Next: Confirm**.
11. Click **Install Integration**. The integration will now appear in the top Connected section of your Integrations page.
12. Click on the installed integration. Scroll down to the Org Mappings section of the configuration page and complete organization mapping as needed.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.rewst.help/rewst-documentation/documentation/integrations/integration-guides/immybot-integration-setup.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
