# Apps

## **What are apps in Rewst?** 

*Apps* in Rewst are an extension of Rewst’s automation platform that allows MSPs to quickly build front-end web applications for interacting with Rewst-generated data from workflows, forms, and data. Apps consist of *pages*, and pages are made up of *blocks* like images, text, forms, tables, and charts. You build apps in the App Builder portion of Rewst. Use apps to drive additional efficiency, consistency, and visibility gains, and differentiate your personal brand through engaging front-end experiences.

While you could manually create and assemble apps, the Rewst Agent can also guide you through the building process, from start to finish. For most users, even experienced users who created apps in Rewst Classic, we recommend making your ask of the Rewst Agent and letting it do the work for you.

## View apps in Rewst <a href="#view-forms-in-rewst" id="view-forms-in-rewst"></a>

Access Rewst apps by navigating to **Apps** in the left side menu of your Rewst Platform.

The center of the Apps screen contains a list of all your apps. Click either the name of the app or **...** to the right of your app to open its profile and info screen.&#x20;

Click **...** to the right of the app in the **Actions** column to expand additional actions for that particular app:

* **Open** - Open the app in list view edit its pages, layout, data sources, and interactions.&#x20;
* **Launch App** - This is the live rendered experience, not the editor. Open the published, running app as an end user would see it.&#x20;
* **Access** - Manage who can use the app: which users, roles, or organizations can view or launch it.
* **Rename** - Change the app's display name.
* **Duplicate App** - Create a copy of the app— including pages, data sources, and configuration—  as a new app that you can iterate on without touching the original. The copy doesn't include thed favicon, access settings, or published state of the original app.&#x20;
* **Delete** - Clicking this will immediately delete your app. Exercise caution.
